In a Forest deep in the heart of France, a group of engineers and volunteers builds a stone castle, using only medieval tools. A colossal project, that is expected to take 30 years to finish. Year after year, visitors can witness the construction of the “Guédelon Castle”, and travel to the past for a little while.

Photos taken during the summer of 2016.
